Tim Lewis Death & Obituary: Alisyn Camerota’s Husband, Tim Lewis, Passes Away After Battle with Cancer
The heartbreaking news of Tim Lewis, husband of Alisyn Camerota, passing away in July was publicly shared in September. Tim was 58 years old and had bravely battled stage 4 pancreatic cancer for two years before his passing. Known for his exceptional role as a father, spouse, friend, and role model, his legacy continues to inspire those who knew him.
A Devoted Family Man
Despite the demands of a professional life, Tim was unwavering in his commitment to his family. He was deeply involved in his children’s lives, orchestrating everything from playdates and soccer schedules to violin and drum lessons, while balancing work commitments. He even found time to prepare for the changing seasons by ordering autumn apparel for his kids, a task that often amused them.
Tim had a special gift for creating lasting memories with his family. Whether it was neighborhood walks, vacation hikes, or dinners on the beach, he relentlessly pursued time spent together. Even the simplest moments, such as sitting at the kitchen table solving puzzles, were cherished experiences for him.
A Legacy of Giving
Beyond his personal life, Tim was dedicated to serving the community. In his honor, a fund has been established to assist families who are facing similar struggles. Contributions to this fund will help continue Tim’s mission of simplifying the lives of those around him, a cause he held dear.
