“Today would have been my parents’ 69th wedding anniversary, and it is the first day without my sister, Cynthia Cindy Lemoine Knecht. Her life was taken in a brutal and tragic way. Solace comes from the joy she rediscovered in the past year and the love shown by so many. Please keep our family, especially my two nephews, in your hearts as we cope with this unbelievable loss.”
The Knecht family and the Slidell community are grappling with this unimaginable tragedy, and support for the family continues to pour in.
